about me

I am a composer, arranger, violinist, pianist, and physicist driven by curiosity for the art and science of sound. My work explores explore the various intersections of the two, from composing for the Philadelphia Ballet, to research in acoustics.

I began my musical journey with piano and violin lessons at a young age. Since then, I have both composed works for and/or performed with distinguished musicians like the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra, Tyshawn Sorey, and the PRISM Quartet. My work in composition, recognized through honors like the Hilda K. Nietzsche Prize, emphasizes the power music has to tell stories.

My scientific curiosity is a strong complement to my music. As an undergraduate physics and music double major at the University of Pennsylvania, I am a published researcher in bioacoustics.

Interdisciplinarity is a key part of my identity, and I am eager to bring this unique perspective to creative and technical challenges.
