about me

I am an ardent violinist, pianist, arranger, composer, and part-time physicist driven by an insatiable curiosity. My passion compels me to explore all things, and I find myself in a perpetual quest for answers to the profound questions that the world presents to me.

Raised in Philadelphia, PA by immigrant parents, I started classical piano lessons at the age of 9 and violin lessons at the age of 8. Thereafter, I immersed myself in a diverse array of musical experiences, ranging from performing in orchestras to playing keys for jazz and pit bands as well as my parents’ church choir. Sometime along this journey, I made the decision to engage with music composition.

My composition journey has taught me the ability music possesses to tell stories. This philosophy has manifested in my own works, especially in my film scores.

I am currently pursuing a B.A. double-major in Physics and Music at Penn, where I continue to explore my passion for music through involvement in the Penn Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Program
